not much different
Earth, you are not much different than us.
It seems that from thirty-six thousand feet above your surface, and as I sit inside this plane, I can only visualize you through an anatomical personifying semblance.
As water streams through the lakes that are your veins, I start to notice that the life within you can continue on and grow. But, as I veer off, I notice that much like myself, the veins within you are armed and protected by strong structures and formations that humans refer to as bones. However, unlike us, your protection doesn't come from the bones that humans find within themselves. Instead, you are guarded with mountainous ridges that protect the beauty inside you from uninvited pain and sickness. These features that I can see are the type of qualities that present you with the underlying beauty inside you. And just as it is with humans, what charm lies within us is often complimented with an astonishing look on the outside. In fact, I cannot sit back and ignore the hair that compliments the form of your body. The hair that we typically refer to as nature, trees, and forestry are the features that grow across your body with such elegance that we oftenly forget what ultimately lies beneath the surface. Forgetful as I may be, it would be shameful to neglect one of your most captivating, compelling humanistic features; your eyes. The skies are the eyes that sit at the top tier of your astonishing presence. Yes, just as I am blown away from the eyes accompanying a lovely lady, I look to the skies with the same passionate regards. Your blue skies nearly resemble the eyes that can take my breath away when looking into the eyes of a beautiful woman. Impossible to miss, too pretty to look past, the skies make up your most appealing feature.
Lastly, the emotions that we as humans empathize and sympathize with, are the reasons we can feel, can connect and can express our truest form of emotion. But I wonder, where do your emotions come from? As I sit back and think, I begin to see your emotions, your thoughts and your feelings shining through the clouds. These clouds are your barrier, your curtain, your wall. They hide, but also release everything that makes you, you. With heavy skies, your deepest secrets are hidden. Meanwhile, an open sky invites others in to experience you for who you are. Like an alluring woman who guards her inner feelings, your clouds, which resemble an emotional curtain determine how you will express pain, anxiety, fear, love and sadness. Your clouds provide the tears that allow your body to grow both inside and out. Your tears we call rain give the hairs on your graceful body a chance to grow; your veins a chance to feel a pulse; and your bones a chance the opportunity to feel nourished.
