So, the Texas State Bobcats basketball team gave it a great run this year- making to the March Madness doorsteps. Sadly, the Bobcats fell short to Troy. At that point, it seemed as if the Bobcats season was over, but that was not the case. Instead, Texas State was invited to the College Insider Tournament; where the made it all the way to the finals once again. This time the Bobcats were facing the Saint Peter's Peacocks. The final game looked to be a surefire win for Texas State- starting the first half with a 14-0. Although the Peacocks began to wake up, the Bobcats continued their offensive blitz- ending the first-half in a 23-8 lead.... Then the switch was flipped. Once the second half arrived, the Peacocks were surely awake. Shots began to drop non-stop for Saint Peter's. Where as, the Bobcats could not buy a bucket. The Bobcats simply went cold. Eventually, the second-half would come to an end- leaving the Bobcats with the loss. The final score for Texas State Bobcats final game was 49-44.
