A Vision for Unspoken Words
These are the words
that could never escape you.
They stay locked in your mind,
begging for their release.
These are your words of
encouragement, happiness,
positivity, anger, humiliation,
stress, and everything in between.
These are your words,
and the visions that hope
to be seen.here to edit.
It's all in your mind.
You sit there, feeling as if you’re the only one in the galaxy, flying through space. You're traveling through a vast, dark realm of emptiness, on a high-speed roller coaster, looking for a connection. With all the power within you, you do all you can to make your exit from this roller coaster; or, at least find another rider to experience this perplexing adventure with. However, there is no one else there. You’re alone, to participate in this whirlwind of changing speeds, highs and lows, and never-ending turns. Yet, all you want to do is share an experience. All you want to do is share this emotional turbulence.
And then, you come back to earth. You realize that you were never in space. No, you were in your head the whole time; A place were only you can hear the deepest, darkest secrets, echoing through your mind. Secrets, thoughts, ideas, truths, lies, they all bounce around within your head. You crave for nothing more but to speak of these thoughts, however, with each attempt to ventilate, you find that your voice does not translate the same language in which your mind articulates. And, now it seems as if there is no way to reveal yourself to others; to relieve yourself; to declutter your mind.
But that is where you are wrong. I am here. I have been here. And even though I am just a piece of paper, I come to you as an ear. But I ask of only one thing from you. I ask you to use me as a canvas. Paint me. Transfer your mind's images onto me. Print all of your thoughts onto me. I want them all. I want the good, the bad, the strange, the funny, the embarrassing, I want it all. I have learned every language, and there is no language inside your head that I cannot understand.
And, I know you’re scared. I mean who am I? Well, I am surely not like the others. I hold no judgment. Here, amongst my paper-like canvas, I hold no judgment, no opinions, nor any biases. So, clear your mind. Ventilate. Allow me to be your breath. Give me the chance to free your mind. Let me be your
